York is a historic walled city at the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Foss in North Yorkshire, England. The city was founded by the Romansas Eboracum in 71 AD. It became the capital of the Roman province of Britannia Inferior, and later of the kingdoms of Northumbira and Jorvik. In the Middle Ages, York grew as a major wool trading centre and became the capital of the northern ecclesiastical province of the Church of England, a role it has retained. In my opinion York is one of the most beautiful cities in England. I had the opportunity to live in Harrogate district, is about 30 minutes by train from York. The city has a lot of, various monuments, churches, museums and galleries. I have decided to make a watercolor painting, one of the smallest churches in this city called Holy Trinity..
